Interpretation methods can be divided into several categories depending on whether the interpreter interprets from one language to another and to a single listener, or if both parties require interpretation, and what kind of venue and equipment the interpreter has at their disposal.
Facilitator interpreting
As facilitator interpreters, we seek to facilitate better understanding. We created this unique concept by combining aspects of facilitator tasks to the interpreter’s role. The interpreter’s task is to convey a message between speakers of two or more languages, while a facilitator’s task is to support group interactions and guide the trainees’ learning in a goal-oriented manner.

Learning is easier in one’s own language, so the interpreter is present to ensure that the ideas are expressed correctly, and the facilitator role ensures that all participants are able to follow along and internalise the content of the training right from the start. The facilitator interpreter ensures information security and understanding with a relaxed attitude. A relaxed and open atmosphere enables trust between the trainer and the participants. It creates interaction that better advances the goals of the training.

Traditional interpreting methods
Conference interpreting refers to interpreting at various events, such as meetings and conferences.
It is usually performed either as consecutive or simultaneous interpreting.
Liaison interpreting usually takes place in conversation with an authority or other service situations, for example when using healthcare services.
Liaison interpreting can be carried out as consecutive interpreting or simultaneous interpreting, for example in whispers (whispered interpreting).
In remote interpreting, at least one party is physically in a different location and connects to the other parties via video and audio. Interpreting is on-site interpreting if the interpreter and the client are in the same location.

In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter listens to the source language speaker and prepares, for example, by taking notes, to interpret the speaker’s message as soon as they have finished speaking. The interpretation takes place in sections in which the speaker and interpreter alternate. The speaker first speaks a short section, which the interpreter repeats in another language, and then the same continues until the speech and interpretation have been delivered.
In simultaneous interpreting, on the other hand, the interpreter speaks while listening to the speaker. This usually requires special equipment, including a soundproof interpretation booth and devices that allow the interpreter to listen to the speaker and deliver the interpretation to the listeners.
Whispered interpreting is used if only one party to the conversation or a small audience of the target language needs interpretation. In this case, the interpreter conveys the speech to their listeners in a whisper, without disturbing the other listeners.
